I am HiJacking This Blog For a While!
Friday, February 29, 2008
I don't know how long it will be for, but I figure I can justify my time at home by being busy blogging. Now, I could get my own blog, but one of the advantages of marriage is sharing things. So I am sharing this blog. I will take my share starting now! Oh, is that not sharing? - Sure it is. So, just to keep the Missus happy, let's have a little secret, and see if she reads this. You as a reader, and me as a writer will try to get this blog rolling, and see if "The Boss" as I call her around the home, will even notice. Now, I have to go into this to see if I can find away to edit in my own name and stuff in the header of the blog, so that you all will know who is now the boss of this blog - Yeah, RIGHT! (In reality, I still wish to do as I am told, in order to maintain the peace!)
Yours truly,
Love and Kisses, (especially to all you hot-looking asian chicks of all ages)
John

Not a good day to be driving
Saturday, February 23, 2008
It was one of the frightening driving I have ever done. I went and picked up my parents from the apartment last night to spend the weekend here. It was so nice and clear when I took off, and arrived there with the same condition for that matter. But as soon as we left the apartment on the way back, the street was just covered with snow! I was unaware that there's going to be snowfall last night. But anyways, I just went ahead, went on the freeway and found myself trapped in this ever snow-covered highway. The worst thing was, I was able and can handle myself doing 90 km/hr, it's the annoying big trucks that overtake me that's makes me worried especially that I can't see any markings on the road. I am not sure if I was still on my lane or had hugged the middle one.

Late Valentine's date
Wednesday, February 20, 2008
This is a little late, just thought I'd mention this anyways. We went out Saturday. It was a perfect day to go out. Sky's cloudless, a lot of stars but it was a little cold. Still, we manage to go out with my hubby and son that night. My son paid for our ticket to see the movie, 'Jumper'. He had a $25 gift certificate from the movie theater here and he decided to treat us for Valentine's Day. He was so proud he was able to treat us. He actually won the certificate at school. So it was a successful outing

Weather Is Crazy
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
The weather is really weird right now, it has warmed up, has rained, all the ice is just about melted, so this is a good sign for an early spring, as , once the sun hits the bare ground, the heat builds up more than when the sun shines on white snow or ice. Not bad for February in Nova Scotia.

More fishy
Thursday, February 07, 2008
Yes! our little guppy have more little ones for the third time! geezz, I can hardly keep up with them. Dad said that they will have babies every month. In that case, my tank will be filled with fishes in 3 months time! Right now, I only have 2 floating breeders where I keep the little ones to save them from being the meal of the bigger fishes. The first batch is now 1 month old but they are still too young to be free, the second batch is 2 weeks younger and are on the second breeder box, so I have no choice but to put the 3rd batch with the first batch. I was counting them as I scoop them up, but I lost count after 12, so I don't know how many little fishes we have now. I am guessing about 30-35!

It will be tomorrow
Tuesday, February 05, 2008
Hopefully, I will collect my Jeep from the body shop tomorrow. It has been OK driving the little Hyundai rental, but the carpets stink of fungus mould, so I will be happy to hand it back, despite the heated seats. It has been a double-edged sword - the gas mileage is way better, but then we have the extra rental insurance at $15 a day which has more than offset the mileage savings. I will be glad to get back to something with more room, as well, rather than being cramped up. Oh, well, seems we have been promised that the Jeep will be ready quite a few times, and it hasn't been. So, we will see.

It's not that easy!
Sunday, February 03, 2008
Maintaining a blog is harder than I thought. I have now 5 blogs maintained since last year. It started with just one on Friendster but because you have to log in to comment, I decided to open up one somewhere. But now I end up with 5! The hardest thing for me is to keep in touch with my readers, as I really don't have time to go and visit them. Normally, I can visit 2 or maybe 3 blogs when I am alone at home and it will take me a few more minutes before I get side tract. I am using most of my time just reading some of my friend's blog which gives me a lot of inspirations and to see what they are up to. But lately though, because of my schedule, I can't even do that anymore. It's really hard to do!
