Hubby's Plumbing Skills Increase!
Monday, July 28, 2008
I know that I mentioned in one of my blogs about how my Hubby broke off the shower head, and ended up replacing the whole faucet unit behind the wall of the shower enclosure.
Well, he still has to fix the kitchen faucet that he tried to repair over a year ago.
It drips.
Not a lot, but I have a plastic container below that I empty once in a while.
It was actually quite a good job he did in the bathroom, no leaks for a change, so I feel a little more confident in encouraging him to fix the kitchen faucets that he failed with last year, and he might as well get a new unit for that as well.
I think that with the old one that drips, he might have gotten it a little too hot when soldering it, and maybe melted something inside. He must have learned something, because he did mention that when he did the bathroom shower ones, he took the faucet unit apart to solder it.
So, time to nag him a little - he tends to do as I suggest, because he is retired and has no excuse that he doesn't have the time!
