More Car Key Problems
Sunday, August 31, 2008
My Hubby is getting worried. I left the keys to my Jeep at my Moms place, and hubby says it is a 'chip' key, and if it gets lost, it will cost us about $600 to get a replacement.
We went down there in the other car, with Hubby driving, so I didn't even need to take my keys, that's the annoying thing.
At least I know where it is. Now all I have to do is hope that they are not put somewhere 'safe' that no-one will remember!

Acne Cure Comprarisons
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
Acne can be an embarrassing thing to have happen to you, and there are quite a few different medications on the market to assist in the suppression or eradication of acne, but it might be best to check out acnecuresrevealed.net where they do comparisons of products, even including the cheapest price they found by online shopping. The price difference by shopping online can really bring great savings, by the look of things.

Locked Myself Out Of The Car!
Tuesday, August 26, 2008
I had to phone Hubby today and get him to drive 120 miles round trip, because I locked the keys in the trunk of the car. I thought I had the keys hooked on my finger as I carried a large package out of the trunk, but it turned out that they had slipped off, or maybe I didn't hook my finger through the keyring properly.
Still, it could have been worse, at least I was not in a rush to get somewhere, and I was able to shelter in the house I was at, as it was really raining hard at the time. I must be more careful.

More About Accidents
It is interesting how we call accidents 'accidents'. Yet most are just a moments bad decision, or not seeing something properly. Unfortunately it is not really possible to drive really safely all the time, or we would all be doing 30 MPH when at night on the highway. So, like many things in life, it is a compromise.
We all just take our chances, and hope that all the other drivers are being as careful, or even more careful than we are!

As I remember it...
Thursday, August 21, 2008
I was in an accident last year. It was snowy and it was not good to drive on a freeway. Anyways, this guy lost out of control as he passed me, hit my side and spanned out of the road. Meanwhile, I was left with just a dent on the driver's side of the car. Good thing, no one got hurt of course, but after all the shockness of the whole thing, comes the fixing of my Jeep. Our insurance company suggested to have the auto body repair done immediately. I think they did a good job and no one would ever thought that the Jeep was in an accident.

So happy for him..
My bro and his family!!!! couldn't be happier for him. A few more days and he will be a married dude:)...He had been saving his money and working so hard here just for this trip. I know it's not a lot but he did a good job saving his money. Going back home without using a credit card is a big accomplishment. I never know anyone here who goes home without a borrowed money. Anyways, just happy for him...

Pool Table Covers - For Billiard Tables Too!
Saturday, August 16, 2008
The owning of a pool table can be a real benefit, as it gives a 'weatherproof' game that allows exercise for the players, but without going to extremes. Now, there are a few problems with having such a thing in the house and that is the matter of dust when not being used, and also a good chance it will be used as a regular table for junk, including liquids such as beer and wine - it makes an inviting place to place a drink at times when the table is not in play. The answer? - pool table covers! Well, actually, just one per table is enough! Pool table covers are actually an essential, due to the nature of the felt covering on a pool table. It can really mess up the game if there are spots on the table where the felt is maybe a bit matted, or even shiny with beer residue, and a pool table cover will set you free of worries over that. Pool tables, at least good ones, are too expensive not to have covered when not in use, and the obvious covering is, you guessed it, a pool table cover!

Business Process Management
Wednesday, August 13, 2008
Business Process Management, or bpm, just became a whole lot easier with the ability of change to be encompassed by the Phrophix software. Basically the whole idea is to set up your business to respond to clients needs and requirements, and when doing so, allow for some changes to occur and be accomodated as the clients get advanced in what they are doing in business. This is particularly important in today's changing markets that have been affected worldwide by the US mortgage issues, as well as the oil price increases.

Gas Prices Are Not That Bad!
Tuesday, August 12, 2008
Well, actually, gas prices are bad, but I have done some figuring out. My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee does about 19 or 20 to the gallon. This is a major expense with the mileage I am doing.
I was working out the advantages of trading it in for a new vehicle that would get more MPG, and it works out that I can buy a lot of gas for the extra that I would be paying for the vehicle. In fact, as long as Hubby is around to do the maintenance, the cost of running and older yet more gas guzzling vehicle is actually way cheaper than buying a new one.
So, the cost will depend upon your yearly mileage. Work it all out before rushing to the car dealer!

Futures Trading - A Stronger Trend?
Sunday, August 10, 2008
With all the recent fuss over mortgages, many people have become a bit more aware of other possibilities than just investing in properties. Commodities are always in demand, and it is sometimes fairly easy to forecast the future demands. It is a fair bet, for example, that agriculture will become stronger in the marketplace, due to biofuels. So, overall, futures trading might be the way to go right now.

Las Vegas - More Affordable, Maybe?
Las Vegas is perhaps the most unique city in the world, being created from nothing in the desert, and now the major center for gambling as well as spectacular entertainment from leading mega-stars. One of the best things about it is being in the 'know' about hotels in las vegas, as they offer great deals, including discount coupons. So, the prices can actually be subsidized, in a manner of speaking, from the other activities.

Modern Furniture - A Dramatic Look.
It is interesting to see that when you look at most modern furniture it might be regarded as being masculine in appearance. I know that my Hubby certainly likes the more modern stuff, despite his age being more art-deco than modern. I have noticed as well that there always seems to be a lot of black, white, or other high contrasting colors in modern furniture. At the same time, if you have an older place that is not old enough to be 'period', then it can be a clever move, I think, to avoid more sedate furniture styles.

New York - Moving House?
If moving residence within a city like New York, you might appreciate the choice of being charged by either an hourly rate, or a flat rate for the whole job. Shleppers.com actually do more than moving within the confines of New York City, they have services that include international moving, as well as storage and the provision of supplies such as suitable cardboard boxes and more. I reckon that the reliability is there too, because they have been established as a New York Moving Company for about 30 years now.

Congratulations....
...China!!!! I just saw the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing last night. Thanks to my ever loyal DVR, I was able to record the whole thing. They reckoned that this was the most recorded show ever on the planet. I must say, I was so impressed. I had goosebumps all the way to the finish. All the acts were so articulately done. I can't get over all the minute details of every number. The countdown alone, with the lighted drums with 2008 drummers, were so neat. I just can't believe how disciplined they were. The precision and attention to little details were just so amazing. Anyways, overall, it was a great show. So my congratulations to China for hosting the 2008 Olympics. Well Done!

So sad...
...to see my rank going back to zero here. I am still battled how google do their ranking. I got rid of most of links and other unnecessary images but I still got hit. I am seeing a lot friends around who also got the cruel ranking from google. They have different strategies than me but their blogs still got hit. So like I said, I am still confused how we get ranked. Oh well, life must go on, so I will still carry on blogging as normal as I can:)

Advice When Obtaining Online Loans
Sunday, August 03, 2008
The borrowing of money is generally fairly easy, but it is always harder to pay it back, I am sure that we have all experienced that. By being careful in what you do, loans can be a useful tool to you in lowering personal stress levels, and enabling a reasonable lifestyle. If you are looking for a Auto Loans or maybe Pay Day Loans, completeloansource.com can be of of use to you. Some good advice to everyone before getting a loan is to think carefully what you have a need for, as well as your financial position in, say, a few months time. This will allow you to go ahead and be sure that the loan will be helpful to you in the longer term, assuming the loan is a longer term arrangement rather than a p payday loan. If you have past credit problems, completeloansource.com even have loans available that will fit your needs, and also the same applies with payday loans, if you have a time problem for getting some money - the bank charges for insufficient fund checks are high, so a payday loan can not only give peace of mind, but can also save you money.

Rain All Weekend
Saturday, August 02, 2008
Here on the East Coast we seem to always get worse weather during the weekend than while we are at work during the week. I once read somewhere that this was caused by pollution for the USA that takes time to drift over from where it is created, which is in what they call the Mid-west.
Anyway, this weekend fits the bill, raining all day Saturday, and raining Sunday, according to the forecast.
Oh, well, can't complain about rain, at least it is not like snow - we don't have to shovel the rain!
