Hubby's boat moves towards the water!
Wednesday, April 20, 2011
Hubby seems to be spending more and more time working on his boat. He told me today that he now has 'most' of the deck fixed so that the rain doesn't get in!
I would not be so much worried about the rain as I would with the sea getting in!
It will be interesting to see the boat when it is in the water, instead of perched up high on dry land!

Rehab In Malibu
Tuesday, April 05, 2011
It is perhaps a bit unnatural for us humans to have access to thing such as alcohol or drugs, but in the world there are many other addictive substances, some of which are eaten regularly by animals.
So it seems that, as a species, we are not alone.
It is interesting that such things are not an economic issue, although the item used might vary with the wealth of the user, and the availability in the local area.
But there is a difference in the wealth demographic, and that is as far as rehab is concerned. For instance, a malibu rehab treatment clinic will no doubt have a higher success rate than a publicly funded clinic in the backwoods somewhere.
So, maybe it balances out. With the wealth to buy the more exotic drugs comes the wealth to undertake successful rehab.

Spring Flu
Saturday, April 02, 2011
Hubby is suffering from spring flu. He seems to get zapped by flu about twice or 3 times a year, but only when working, never when he was retired.
It almost makes me feel guilty for pulling him out of retirement!
But he has enabled me to get my business set up as a more secure prospect, he calls it consolidating my position.
Just as well he found the energy to do that, as he will soon be retiring all over again!

Natalie Portman
Friday, April 01, 2011
It is interesting that when you do a search for Natalie Portman, you come up with 2 main results, one is about her being pregnant, and the other is about natalie portman's engagement ring.
Apparently both news items, the engagement, and the fact that she was pregnant, came out late last year.
Lot's of the chatter about the subject focuses upon the fiance, particularly as he is French, and a ballet dancer.
It will be interesting to see if the marriage lasts, or becomes just another showbiz event.
