It is really sloppy outside today.
The weather got warmer, and it started raining with high winds, so the snow that we had the other day has become slush.
And that means that it is solid enough to sink into, and wet enough to flow over the tops of shoes and even boots.
On the good side though, the roads are free of ice and snow, and the bird do-do that was on the roof of my van has been washed off overnight.

Being horsey is whern you are into horses.
Funny word really, I mean if my Hubby is interested in cars, I don't call him car-ey.
Of course, seeing as he is from the UK, he is familiar with things like being horsey, and what english horse tack is.
As far as I know, the equipment associated with western style riding is not known as western horse tack, so the term 'tack' must come from jolly old England.

I have just weighed myself, and it seems that I have lost about 8 pounds. This time, it so happens that it was without the weight loss pills that I have used in the past, and work quite well.
Now, I figure that I will see if I can keep the new weight, and then improve on it once I am sure that it is a stable situation.
I have to admit though, I am starting to add a few pounds to my expected weight, just to factor in my age!

Around this time of year, the start of December, we think that winter has already started, but in fact, we are more often in the rain than in the snow.
But, in just a couple of weeks, we will be into snow, and temperatures that do not go above freezing very often, even during the daytime.
So, time to dig out the snow shovels. Get it? DIG out the shovels?
