Plodding Along With Finances
Monday, January 23, 2012
It is a fact that it is easier to spend money than to save it. But I have found that another greater problem is that there is a tendency to just use a credit card for purchases. This seems fairly nonthreatening, I mean, I just said, 'use a credit card'.
What I should have said was 'Borrow money by creating high interest credit card debt'.
I have been very careful for a few months now, not to overdo my spending, and it is paying off.
And, as the debts get less, the money I waste by giving it to credit card companies also gets less.
But it does feel good when I add things up, and see that I am making progress.
